Meanwhile, in the Sierra Nevada, to the east of Redding and Fresno, the higher elevations are encountering light snow showers, adding a touch of winter in the air. As we move into Nevada, Reno remains dry.
To the east, Flagstaff is experiencing some light rain showers, bringing a bit of moisture to the region, while Cedar City is under partly cloudy skies. Las Vegas and Phoenix continue to enjoy dry weather, with no precipitation in sight.

“Expect periods of rain for the Southwest tomorrow, with the heaviest precipitation focusing on coastal areas of Southern California, including Los Angeles and San Diego. Watch for slick road conditions and localized flooding, especially over mountain passes. Farther inland, conditions will remain mostly dry and breezy through Arizona, with temperatures staying mild. More showers are anticipated in Northern California, with another wave of heavy rain arriving late in the day. Stay alert for weather updates as this active weather pattern persists.”
