Meteorologist Amy Freeze here with your go-to guide for the Miami weather forecast. Tomorrow, wake up to 81°F with partly cloudy skies scaling up to 86°F around noon. Our Southeast radar tracks a band of rain moving eastward, potentially impacting our sunny forecast with moderate showers. Tonight, plan for temperatures to slightly dip in the Southeast. On the Southeast regional radar, a band of rain is currently stretching from Jackson through Montgomery, extending towards Atlanta. This line of precipitation is continuing its path eastward, bringing moderate showers to these areas. Charlotte and Savannah are seeing increasing cloud cover as the system edges nearer. The Gulf Coast cities, including New Orleans and Tampa, are presently clear but should monitor incoming changes. Miami enjoys sunshine with no immediate weather disruptions.
Miami wakes up with partly cloudy skies and temperatures starting at 81 degrees. As the morning progresses, expect a gentle shift with temperatures rising to 84 degrees by 10 AM and 86 degrees by noon. Winds will be light from the south initially at 6 mph, increasing slightly to 9 mph from the south-southeast.
High temperatures in the Southeast tomorrow are expected to soar well above average, reflecting a warm spell across the region. Atlanta will reach 82 degrees, while Montgomery hits 90 degrees. New Orleans matches that with a high of 89 degrees, and nearby Jackson registers at 89 degrees as well. Jacksonville anticipates a sizzling 97 degrees, making it one of the hottest spots. In contrast, Miami should enjoy a comfortable 88 degrees, keeping it slightly cooler compared to the northern parts of Florida.
The weather pattern for tomorrow in the Southeast shows a surge of moisture with thunderstorms developing in the morning hours. Starting from Houston, moving into Shreveport and Jackson, expect scattered storms with heavy rainfall and gusty winds. By the afternoon, these storm systems advance toward Montgomery and into the Florida Panhandle. A second wave brings showers to New Orleans throughout the day, adding to rainfall totals which could lead to localized flooding.
