Rain showers are currently impacting the southeastern corner of Georgia and the northern part of Florida, particularly around Savannah and Jacksonville, where moderate to heavy rain is happening. As the rain moves northward, it is bringing wet weather to areas close to the South Carolina coast. The rest of the Southeast, including Houston, New Orleans, and Montgomery, remains dry and relatively clear at the moment. Meanwhile, Memphis and areas stretching towards Atlanta are under partly cloudy skies, keeping the rain at bay.
In Miami this afternoon, temperatures start at 81 degrees at 3 PM, cooling slightly to 79 degrees by 5 PM, and reaching 77 degrees by 7 PM. Expect sunny conditions transitioning to mostly clear skies as the evening approaches. Winds remain steady, coming from the east-northeast at 13 miles per hour during the day and slightly dropping to 12 miles per hour by 7 PM.

Overnight expect 69 degrees in Shreveport and 67 in Jackson. Further east, Nashville will see a low of 66 degrees, while Atlanta cools down to 63. In Florida, Jacksonville will rest at 64 degrees, and Tampa is expected to be slightly warmer at 65. However, Charlotte is cooler at 62, setting the stage for a fresh start to the day.
Tomorrow, the Southeast will bask in above-average temperatures as a warm front continues to influence the region. Atlanta is expected to hit a high of 80 degrees, while Savannah warms up to 80 as well. Montgomery and Jackson will see even warmer conditions, with highs reaching 88 degrees. New Orleans is also set for a pleasant day at 86 degrees. In Florida, both Jacksonville and Tampa are forecasted to reach 81 and 87 degrees, respectively, contributing to a summery feel across the region.
A cold front is set to sweep across the Southeast tomorrow, bringing scattered thunderstorms and showers from Mississippi through Georgia. Expect significant rain and potential flash flooding, particularly from Birmingham to Atlanta. Winds could become gusty as storms intensify, so remain alert for any severe weather alerts. Temperatures will drop slightly behind the front, leading to cooler, more comfortable conditions by evening. The rain should start to taper off by late afternoon, giving way to drier skies through central Florida.
