The Southeast region is currently experiencing varied weather conditions as depicted on the radar. Rain and thunderstorms are sweeping across eastern Texas, with activity moving towards Shreveport and parts of Louisiana. Jackson is already seeing rain, and these showers are projected to advance eastward into Alabama, impacting areas like Montgomery. Georgia and the Carolinas are experiencing mostly clear conditions, with some cloud cover increasing ahead of the approaching system. Coastal areas like Savannah and Jacksonville remain dry, but should stay alert for changing weather.
Temperatures this evening in Miami remain steady at 79 degrees before a slight dip to 78 degrees by 1 AM. Expect partly cloudy skies throughout the evening, providing a pleasant ambiance. Winds will be gentle, coming from the east-southeast at 9 to 10 miles per hour.
Tonight in the Southeast, temperatures will drop significantly, with Memphis cooling down to 62 degrees. Nashville will experience a low of 60 degrees, while Atlanta is forecasted to be slightly cooler at 61. In Louisiana, Shreveport will see a low of 64 degrees, and Jackson is expected to drop to 63. Farther south, New Orleans will have a mild low of 68, while Tampa and Miami stay warm at 73 and 75 degrees respectively.

A cold front pushes into the Southeast tonight, bringing a line of strong thunderstorms from Shreveport through New Orleans, reaching Jackson and Montgomery by early morning. Severe weather is possible, with strong winds and heavy rainfall expected to cause localized flooding. By Tuesday afternoon, showers extend from Houston to Jacksonville.
