A swath of rain is sweeping across the Southeast, with heavy showers extending from Tampa towards Jacksonville. The radar shows a defined line of rain stretching along the Gulf Coast from New Orleans, moving northeast towards Montgomery and Atlanta. Savannah is experiencing moderate rainfall that is likely to persist as the storm moves further inland. Charlotte and much of the Carolinas remain under overcast skies with potential for rain later in the day. Memphis and Shreveport are seeing mostly clear skies, offering a respite from the wet conditions.
