A dynamic weather system is sweeping through the Southeast with rain showers moving over southern Louisiana and into New Orleans. Rain expands over Houston and stretches eastward across the Gulf Coast towards Jacksonville. In Atlanta, light showers are pushing through while areas north of the city stay mostly dry. Clouds are thickening along the Gulf Coast as more rain approaches from the southwest. Miami remains largely clear with no immediate precipitation in sight.
Tomorrow morning in Miami, temperatures will start at 79 degrees at 8 AM, with a gentle southeast breeze at 6 mph. As the morning progresses, temperatures will rise to 84 degrees by noon, while the southeast wind picks up to 11 mph.
High temperatures for tomorrow in the Southeast show a warm trend across the region. Atlanta is set to reach 70 degrees, while Nashville will be slightly warmer at 73. Down south, Miami is expected to hit 85 degrees, and Tampa could soar to 87 degrees, both well above average for this time of year. In the central part of the region, New Orleans will see a high of 77 degrees, and Jackson, Mississippi, will be cooler at 66 degrees.
Expect a dynamic day across the Southeast with an active weather pattern. A cold front is set to move eastward from Texas through the Gulf states, bringing scattered thunderstorms from Houston to Montgomery. The heaviest rainfall is likely from Jackson to New Orleans, with the risk of flash flooding in localized areas. Overnight into Thursday, the system pushes towards Jacksonville and Savannah, with lingering showers. Temperatures behind the front will drop slightly, but skies clear up by Friday afternoon, allowing for a sunnier weekend ahead.
The UV index in Miami will reach an extreme level of 11 on Friday, with a burn time for exposed skin in about 11 minutes. On Saturday, the UV index will be very high at 9, reducing the burn time to approximately 15 minutes.

Wednesday: Mostly clear skies, expect a high of 84 degrees and a low of 74 degrees. Thursday: Clear and sunny to round out the week, with a high of 86 degrees and a low of 75 degrees.
