Over in Georgia, Atlanta and Savannah are under a lovely clear sky, with no significant rain in sight. Similarly, Tampa and Miami are basking in sunshine, making for a beautiful beach day along the Florida coast.
In Miami this evening, enjoy partly cloudy skies transitioning to mostly cloudy as the night progresses. Temperatures will ease from 71 degrees at 8 PM to 69 degrees by midnight. Expect an east-southeast wind at 6 miles per hour throughout the night.

“Before the weekend is over, tain showers are expected to sweep through parts of the Southeast, including cities like Shreveport, Montgomery, and Jacksonville, as a frontal boundary extends across the region. Anticipate periods of heavy rain, which could lead to localized flooding in low-lying areas. The heaviest activity is likely in the afternoon and evening, with the potential for strong thunderstorms from New Orleans to Jacksonville. Watch for weather alerts as conditions evolve over the next 24 to 48 hours.”
