The Southeast region radar shows a tranquil weather pattern right now, with clear skies over much of the area. However, some rain activity is brewing near Miami, Florida, pushing northward along the peninsula. This rain could extend towards Jacksonville as it progresses. Meanwhile, Alabama and the surrounding areas, including Montgomery and Atlanta, are experiencing generally clear skies. The current conditions offer a brief respite in the region, with dry conditions extending from Houston to Charlotte. Coastal areas like Savannah and Charleston are enjoying pleasant weather.
For this evening in Miami, expect clear skies with temperatures gradually cooling from 70 degrees at 7 PM to 66 degrees by 11 PM. Winds will be from the northeast, starting around 10 mph and decreasing slightly to 6 mph later in the night. Enjoy the calm and pleasant conditions if you’re planning to spend time outdoors.
Tonight in the Southeast, expect a significant drop in temperatures. Memphis will see a low of 41 degrees, while Nashville will drop slightly cooler at 40. Tomorrow in the Southeast, expect some warm temperatures as the region basks in above-average readings. In Montgomery, Alabama, the afternoon high will reach 84 degrees, making it one of the warmest spots in the area. Memphis is projected to hit 77 degrees, while Nashville will be slightly cooler at 75. Moving south, both Jacksonville and Miami are looking at highs around 81 degrees. “On the Southeast futurecast, unsettled weather is on the way with embedded thunderstorms moving through the region. A cold front makes its approach, triggering storms from Jackson to Montgomery, bringing heavy downpours and the risk of severe weather. By Wednesday morning, these storms reach Atlanta, affecting the commute with potential wind and rain impacts. New Orleans to Savannah should remain weather alert as the Storm Prediction Center outlines a severe weather outlook. Rain totals could lead to localized flooding concerns, while temperatures might dip post-front. Keep an eye on evolving conditions over the next 48 hours.”
Miami’s UV index is moderate at 4 for Tuesday, leading to a burn time of about 35 minutes in direct sunlight. By Wednesday, the UV index is projected to increase to 6, with a quicker burn time of 23 minutes. Plan for sun protection with sunscreen and hats! Stay safe and enjoy your day!
