Remember, weather can change fast, so stay vigilant and be ready for anything.
The Southeast region is currently experiencing a range of weather conditions. On the radar, light rain is spreading across parts of Miami, gradually moving westward. While Miami deals with showers, Tampa is seeing some light, scattered precipitation. Meanwhile, the skies over Jacksonville remain mostly clear, offering a break from the rain. Up north, clear conditions prevail in Atlanta and Charlotte, while the southern parts of the region, including Savannah and Charleston, enjoy dry and pleasant weather.
For this evening in Miami, expect a few scattered thunderstorms early, with temperatures at 74 degrees around 8 PM. A cold front is moving across the Southeast, bringing a dynamic weather pattern that will impact several areas. Tuesday into Wednesday, expect strong thunderstorms and heavy rain in regions from Houston to New Orleans and farther east to Jackson and Montgomery. The storms will likely reach Memphis by late Tuesday, with the potential for severe weather including wind damage and localized flooding. As this front progresses, locations such as Atlanta will see rain and storm activity by Wednesday morning, affecting the morning commute. Areas across Savannah and Jacksonville are also on alert for possible thunderstorms. Stay aware of any severe weather warnings.
