On the Regional Radar, light to moderate rain is approaching New Orleans and extending into the Gulf Coast. Houston is experiencing some precipitation as the rain band stretches westward, while areas eastward toward Mobile remain relatively dry for now. Jackson is seeing increasing cloud cover as showers trek northeast. Clear skies prevail over Memphis and Charlotte, but precipitation is looming from the south. Coastal cities like Miami and Tampa are enjoying dry conditions at the moment.
Miami starts the morning with partly cloudy skies and temperatures already at 82 degrees by 8 AM. Expect a warm trend as temperatures climb to 88 degrees by noon with winds shifting from southwest to southeast at 4 to 6 miles per hour.
Tomorrow Atlanta will see a high of 80 degrees, while Memphis warms to 76. Over in Jackson, temperatures will climb to 90 degrees, and Montgomery is looking at a high around 89. Miami is set for a balmy 88 degrees, and Tampa could hit 94, making it one of the hottest spots in the region.
