On the Regional Radar, a line of rain showers is stretching from eastern Louisiana into Alabama. Shreveport and Jackson are experiencing light showers, which are moving northeast towards Atlanta. Memphis is dry but overcast as clouds hang over the area. In Florida, Jacksonville is seeing light rain while skies over Miami remain clear. Heading north, Charlotte is getting light rainfall which will soon be making its way toward Savannah. Overall, the Southeast shows a blend of rain and dry patches, with most precipitation moving eastward.
Temperatures in Miami this evening start at a comfortable 74 degrees at 8 PM, with a westerly wind of 12 miles per hour. Clouds will increase as we move through the night, with mostly cloudy skies and temperatures dipping to 69 degrees by midnight. A gentle westerly breeze of 10 miles per hour will accompany the cloud cover, providing a mild evening atmosphere.
Tonight in the Southeast, temperatures are dropping considerably as cooler air moves in. In the Tennessee River Valley, expect a low of 33 degrees in Memphis and 45 degrees in Nashville. Shreveport will see a low of 49, while Jackson cools down to 45 degrees. Montgomery is set for 40 degrees, and Atlanta will experience a similar low of 40. Farther south, New Orleans will drop to 52 degrees, while Tampa will have a mild low of 46. In Florida, Jacksonville is looking at 43 degrees, and Miami will be a touch warmer at 58 degrees. Expect plenty of chilly air across the region tonight.
High temperatures for the Southeast tomorrow are expected to be relatively mild, with some areas experiencing above-average readings. In Houston, expect a warm high of 76 degrees. Shreveport will see a high reaching 74 degrees, while New Orleans is set to hit 68. Moving east, Jackson is predicted to reach 69 degrees and Montgomery will experience a high of 67 degrees. Atlanta will have slightly cooler temperatures with a high of 65. In the eastern part of the region, Savannah can anticipate a high of 66 and Jacksonville will see a warm 67. Tampa is projected to hit 70 degrees, while Miami may rise to 73 degrees. Overall, the warm air mass is contributing to these pleasant temperatures, setting up for a lovely day across the Southeast.
“A developing low-pressure system will push across the Southeast, bringing with it a variety of weather conditions. Expect rain showers from Houston to New Orleans, spreading eastward into Mississippi and Alabama. Stronger thunderstorms are possible farther north near Memphis and Jackson, with potential for damaging winds and heavy rainfall. The cold front associated with this system will approach Atlanta by tomorrow evening, bringing cooler temperatures and clearer skies post passage. The Carolinas should brace for rain and possible thunderstorms by Thursday afternoon, especially around Charlotte. Expect wind gusts and a noticeable drop in temperatures overnight.”

Saturday: Sunshine mixed with clouds, reaching up to 76 degrees during the day and 67 degrees at night. Sunday: Mostly cloudy, a bit warmer with 77 degrees for the high and 71 degrees for the low. Monday: While mostly cloudy, temperatures will rise to a high of 81 degrees and a low of 69. Tuesday: Clouds will be present early on but clear by late afternoon, with a day high of 81 degrees and a low of 69 degrees.
