A line of showers is currently sweeping through the Gulf of Mexico, poised to approach the coastal regions of Florida and Alabama. The western Gulf shores near Houston and New Orleans remain dry, with no significant precipitation detected. Cloud cover persists over Jacksonville and Savannah as rain moves in from the southeast. Areas north of Montgomery and Atlanta are experiencing clearer skies, but conditions could shift as clouds build up.
This evening in Miami, temperatures hover around 81 degrees with a light east wind at 9 mph. Expect showers to develop by 11 PM, providing some relief from the cloudy conditions. As the night progresses toward 1 AM, look for mostly cloudy skies and a subtle temperature increase to 82 degrees.
Tonight, Memphis will cool down to 75 degrees. Nashville is expected to dip to 75, while Montgomery will see a low of 74. In Jackson, temperatures will drop to 73 degrees, and farther south, New Orleans remains warmer at 78 degrees. Miami will wrap up the night with a cozy 80 degrees.

Afternoon temperatures will hover around the mid to upper 80s due to increased humidity. Watch for a chance of severe storms developing in the evening hours across central Alabama and Georgia, with potential for damaging winds. Wet conditions continue into the night, with showers extending into northern Florida and southern Georgia by Tuesday morning.
