This system is providing a good soaking for areas like Savannah, which could use the moisture. Meanwhile, Jacksonville is seeing a passing shower, but conditions are expected to clear soon. Up in Charlotte, there’s some light rain on the outskirts, but nothing too intense at the moment. Coastal areas, including Miami, enjoy some much-needed dry weather, offering a perfect day for beachgoers. Farther west, cities like Montgomery and Houston remain clear, showcasing a peaceful start to the day.
For this evening in Miami, expect clear skies throughout the night. Temperatures will gradually decrease from 69 degrees at 8 PM to 60 degrees by midnight. Winds are from the north-northwest, maintaining a steady breeze around 12 to 14 miles per hour.

“A cold front is set to move into the Southeast, with thunderstorms expected to develop from Houston to Jackson, eventually reaching Atlanta by early Tuesday morning. The Storm Prediction Center highlights a risk for severe storms, particularly in Louisiana and Mississippi. Expect heavy downpours and the possibility of damaging winds. Rainfall amounts could exceed an inch, raising flood concerns, especially in low-lying areas. After the front clears late Tuesday, temperatures will drop by about 10 degrees, but dry conditions will prevail through midweek across the region.”
