Farther east, cities like Detroit and Cleveland remain dry and clear in the early hours, but clouds are gathering as the system advances. Fort Wayne and Indianapolis are also under mostly clear skies, yet precipitation could arrive later as this rain band progresses. Bowling Green and Louisville are enjoying a break for now. Storms are expected later.

A cold front will push across the Midwest tomorrow, bringing dynamic weather from east to west. Showers and storms are expected from Columbus eastward, with some areas like Indianapolis experiencing heavier showers potentially leading to localized flooding. Watch for rain spreading farther east toward Charleston, turning more persistent by late Tuesday afternoon. Temperatures remain elevated ahead of the front but expect a cooldown by about ten degrees by Wednesday as they settle behind the front. Stay informed as conditions may change quickly, and be prepared for severe weather, particularly in Ohio’s Eastern regions where strong storm activity is outlined.
