In this corridor, expect moderate precipitation as the rain migrates northeast. Areas around Des Moines and Kansas City are enjoying clear conditions, while Bowling Green has dry weather as well. Detroit and Cleveland are under cloud cover, although they remain dry for now. Severe weather is expected today from Kentucky to West Virginia, including southern Ohio.
For this evening in Chicago, expect mostly clear skies with temperatures starting at 55 degrees at 8 PM. Winds will be from the west-northwest at 17 miles per hour. By 10 PM, the temperature will drop to 52 degrees, with partly cloudy skies and winds easing to 12 miles per hour.
