On the Regional Radar, snow is making its way across the Midwest, particularly affecting areas west of Des Moines and extending towards Chicago. Fort Wayne and Indianapolis are experiencing light rain, transitioning southeast towards Bowling Green. Ice conditions are present just north of Indianapolis, impacting travel conditions in nearby areas. Behind this wintry mix, St. Louis is enjoying dry and clear conditions, while Columbus is under increasing cloud cover. Louisville is on the edge of the precipitation, with rain expected to move in later.
Evening temperatures in Chicago begin at 77 degrees at 8 PM, easing to 75 degrees by 10 PM and down to 74 degrees by midnight. Winds will come from the south-southwest at 18 to 19 miles per hour.
Chicago will drop to a chilly 44 degrees, while Detroit cools down to 40. Fort Wayne is forecasted for a low of 43, and Cleveland will see similar temperatures at 43 as well.
