In contrast, areas like Des Moines and Springfield remain under clear skies with no immediate precipitation. Indianapolis and Bowling Green are currently enjoying dry conditions as the showers track eastward. To the north, Detroit shows potential for scattered cloud cover as the rain edges closer. Regions such as Chicago, St. Louis, and Louisville are experiencing calm, clear conditions for now.
For this evening in Chicago, you can anticipate clear skies with temperatures gradually decreasing from 54 degrees at 9 PM to 49 degrees by 1 AM. Winds will be gentle, shifting from an east-southeast direction at 4 miles per hour to south-southwest by early morning.
