Clouds and some light rain are sweeping across northern areas, including Buffalo and Syracuse, with overcast conditions extending towards Albany. The southern edge of this rain is skimming Scranton, and light showers could also touch parts of New York City during the afternoon. To the east, Boston will mostly remain under dry but cloudy conditions, whereas Philadelphia and Washington are seeing clearer skies.
Evening temperatures in New York City start at 92 degrees at 9 PM, cooling slightly to 89 degrees by 11 PM, and reaching 87 degrees by 1 AM. The skies will remain clear throughout the evening. Winds are gentle, coming from the northwest at 4 mph.
Tonight, we’re looking at low temperatures dropping to 59 degrees in Burlington and 60 degrees in Portland. Albany will cool off to 65 degrees, while Syracuse is expected to see a low of 64 degrees. New York City remains slightly milder at 74, with Scranton dipping to 69 degrees. Expect these cooler temperatures across the Northeast region to usher in a refreshing overnight air.
