Showers are present in the region, with the radar indicating rain moving into western and northern parts of New York towards Syracuse and Buffalo. Areas around Albany are starting to see light precipitation, while Philadelphia remains dry under partly cloudy conditions. Scranton, New York City, and Washington are also experiencing fairly clear skies with no significant cloud cover, creating a pleasant day for outdoor activities. However, the rain system is slowly advancing eastward, so keep an umbrella handy if you’re in Boston, as you might see rain later.
New York City will enjoy sunny skies for tomorrow morning, starting off at 8 AM with a calm temperature of 65 degrees. By 10 AM, temperatures rise to a warm 74 degrees with a gentle southwest wind at 4 miles per hour. At noon, expect the temperature to reach a pleasant 79 degrees as the wind shifts slightly to come from the south at 6 miles per hour.
Tomorrow in the Northeast, temperatures are expected to soar, with New York City reaching a high of 88 degrees. Philadelphia is set for an even warmer 89 degrees, while Scranton will see a comfortable 87 degrees. Albany is forecasted at 90 degrees, marking an above-average day for much of the region. Pittsburgh will remain warm as well, with a high of 86 degrees.
A frontal system approaches the Northeast, bringing scattered rain showers by afternoon and increasing cloud cover. Expect temperatures to remain in the mid-to-upper 60s in major cities like New York and Boston. A chance for brief, heavy downpours exists, particularly in areas near Syracuse and Albany. Cooler air filters in post-front, dropping temperatures slightly for Thursday morning but drying out quickly as we approach the weekend.
