A band of rain is stretching across upstate New York, reaching places like Syracuse and moving toward Albany. Meanwhile, northeast Pennsylvania around Scranton remains dry, with only light cloud cover. To the north, Buffalo is experiencing light rain showers as precipitation gradually moves eastward. Boston and Portland are clear of significant weather systems. The coastal areas, including New York City and Philadelphia, are currently dry.
Tomorrow morning in New York City starts off sunny with temperatures rising from 59 degrees at 8 AM to 68 degrees by midday. Winds will be coming from the northwest at 9 to 10 miles per hour, providing a gentle breeze. Expect clear skies that make for a bright and refreshing start to the day.
New York City will see a high of 74 degrees tomorrow, while Philadelphia will warm up to 75 degrees. Pittsburgh isn’t far behind at 69 degrees, and Scranton can expect a high of 64 degrees. In contrast, Buffalo and Syracuse will be cooler, with highs of 59 and 55 degrees respectively.
A low-pressure system is pushing northeast, bringing moderate rain to Boston by midday. Expect gusty winds and cooler temperatures, dipping into the 60s. Showers extend down to Albany, moving out by late afternoon. Some clearing is expected from New York down through Philadelphia.
