Hello NYC and Northeast residents! Meteorologist Amy Freeze here, bringing you the latest insights into our region’s weather. This week, we start with blissful sunny mornings perfect for your early activities. However, be aware of the rain showers traveling across our area, particularly in Albany and Syracuse, while New York City sees lighter showers. As we proceed, temperatures are set to rise slightly above the seasonal average, making for some pleasant days despite some unpredicted showers and potential thunderstorms, especially towards the weekend. Remember to check out our daily updates as conditions evolve.
Rain showers are currently sweeping across the Northeast, with substantial precipitation observed in areas like Albany and Syracuse.
