The radar shows the Northeast region experiencing generally clear conditions this morning. There’s a light rain moving into western Pennsylvania, affecting areas around Pittsburgh. To the northeast, Scranton and parts of upstate New York, including Syracuse, are seeing some scattered showers traversing the area. Boston and much of New England remain dry under partly to mostly cloudy skies, maintaining a quiet weather scenario. Expect this rain to continue moving eastward through the day, potentially reaching Albany and southern parts of New York State later.
New York City tomorrow morning starts sunny with temperatures rising from 65 degrees at 8 AM to 79 degrees by noon. Winds will be calm initially, picking up slightly to 4 mph from the south-southwest by 10 AM and shifting to 6 mph from the south by midnight.
Tomorrow New York City reaches 83 degrees, while Philadelphia and Scranton both hit 88 degrees. Albany is expecting a warm 88 degrees, and places like Buffalo will see a high of 83 degrees. Boston is slightly cooler at 87 degrees, but still well above average for this time of year.
A cold front moves into the Northeast, impacting areas from Syracuse to Boston by Wednesday morning. Expect increasing clouds and scattered showers with the potential for isolated thunderstorms late tomorrow. Temperatures remain seasonal with highs in the upper 60s to low 70s, dipping into the mid-50s at night. Keep an umbrella handy, especially for the morning commute. As the front passes, drier and cooler conditions set in, leading to sunny skies by Thursday.
