We’re kicking off with a sunny start in New York City at chilly temperatures around 34°F, rising through the day. A broken line of rain showers is extending northward from Washington D.C., sweeping through Philadelphia, and reaching up towards Albany. Meanwhile, Syracuse is seeing a mix of precipitation, with rain transitioning into a mix of snow and ice. Buffalo is currently experiencing snow, indicating colder conditions there. Farther south, Pittsburgh is under rainy conditions. Along the coast, New York and Boston are seeing increased cloud cover, but remain dry for now. As this system pushes eastward, expect changing conditions, with more rain anticipated in the coastal areas later.
Tomorrow morning in New York City promises a sunny start with temperatures beginning at 34 degrees. By 9 AM, expect the temperature to rise to 37 degrees with a consistent northwest wind at 9 miles per hour. As the morning progresses to 11 AM, temperatures will reach 41 degrees, while wind speeds decrease slightly to 6 miles per hour.

Expect scattered rain showers along the coastal areas extending from New York City to Boston, potentially causing slick conditions. Wind gusts will increase as the front advances, particularly near the coastline. This system clears out by late Saturday afternoon, leading to brisk, more mild conditions as high pressure builds.
