While NYC enjoys clear skies and moderate temperatures, those near the Canadian border like in Syracuse and Albany should expect snow showers. A glance at the regional radar for the Northeast shows a variable mix of weather conditions. In the upper reaches, near the Canadian border, including areas like Syracuse and Albany, there are scattered snow showers, painting a wintry picture over these landscapes. The snow extends into northern Vermont, with Albany experiencing light snow cover. The coastline cities such as Boston and New York are mostly clear, offering a respite from precipitation. As we move farther south, toward Washington D.C., there are clusters of rain showers pushing through, making it a wet start for the capital. Pittsburgh and Scranton remain dry.
Tomorrow morning in New York City will begin with mostly sunny skies. Temperatures will start at 41 degrees at 7 AM, warming up to 45 degrees by 9 AM with a gentle northwest breeze at 3 miles per hour. As the morning progresses, expect temperatures to reach 49 degrees by 11 AM, with increasing cloud cover and a shift in wind direction to the west at 5 miles per hour.
High temperatures in the Northeast region for tomorrow, March 26th, will showcase a variety of readings, with many areas experiencing slightly below-average conditions. New York: Expect a high of 51 degrees. Philadelphia is bit warmer at 52 degrees. Boston will reach for 48 degrees, slightly below what we would usually anticipate. Albany is forecasted to hit 45 degrees. Pittsburgh expects 46 degrees. Syracuse is looking for a cool 40 degrees. In Buffalo the forecast high only reaches 36 degrees.
“Tomorrow in the Northeast, expect a mix of weather impacts. Rain showers progress from the Mid-Atlantic into New Jersey by midday, with overcast skies extending into New York City by the afternoon. Temperatures will range from the mid-40s to lower 50s. In the northern regions like Buffalo and Syracuse, anticipate light snow showers, especially in the morning, potentially creating slick travel conditions. Farther north, Boston and Portland will experience dry and partly cloudy conditions, with a cool breeze. Stay tuned for any changes in storm tracks that could affect your commute over the next 24 to 48 hours.”
The UV index in New York City will be moderate at 5 for both Tuesday and Wednesday, with a burn time of about 27 minutes in direct sunlight each day.
