Looking at today’s high temperatures in the Northeast, we see some warm air moving in. Pittsburgh is heating up to a sweltering 90 degrees, while Philadelphia will reach 85. New York City and Scranton are both forecasted for highs of 83 degrees. Albany will hit 84, offering a pleasant day overall. Up in the northern parts, Boston will be cooler at 80 degrees, and Portland is expected to see a high of 75.

Tomorrow in the Northeast, temperatures will soar, with Pittsburgh reaching a high of 93 degrees. Scranton will also be warm at 88 degrees, while New York City is expected to hit 89 degrees. Philadelphia will be slightly cooler at 90, and Albany should see highs around 92 degrees.
A cold front brings thunderstorms and heavy rain across the Northeast starting tomorrow morning. From Upstate New York to Boston, expect scattered storms with the potential for localized flooding. Temperatures will drop by 5-10 degrees post-front passage, bringing cooler but clear conditions by Thursday. Albany and Scranton should stay alert for any severe thunderstorm warnings, while the front continues its march toward southern New England. Drive carefully, as wet conditions could impact the morning commute across major cities like New York and Philadelphia.
