The radar for the Northeast shows a significant storm system centered over Syracuse, sweeping eastward with rain showers extending towards Albany. Clouds and precipitation are present over a broad area, with rain reaching as far west as Buffalo. Philadelphia and New York City are experiencing light rain showers, with a separate storm system offshore moving towards the coast. Washington, D.C. is under a mix of light rain and cloudy skies. Boston remains mostly dry and clear, providing a respite from the rain affecting the southern parts of the region.

Tuesday: Rain returns, bringing a high of 72 degrees with evening temperatures around 62.
