The Southwest region is seeing quite a spectrum of weather across the board. Southern California, from Los Angeles to San Diego, enjoys clear skies, making it a great evening to be out and about. However, Redding and the surrounding areas in Northern California are experiencing rain, providing some respite from the usually dry conditions. Ely is under a cloud cover, but it remains dry as Phoenix basks in quite a sunny setting.
