On the Regional Radar for the Southwest, conditions are varying across the area. Over Utah, Cedar City and farther north to Salt Lake City are experiencing snow, with wintry conditions extending throughout the mountainous areas. Meanwhile, Reno is seeing a mix of rain and snow, adding complexity to the weather there. Rain showers are developing over Northern California near Redding and moving southward towards San Francisco and the central California Valleys, where Fresno and Bakersfield are also expecting rain. In Southern California, Los Angeles and San Diego are experiencing mild conditions with clear skies. Flagstaff is seeing some light snow showers, carrying a bit of chill. Phoenix and Las Vegas enjoy dry and clear weather, providing a pleasant evening in those regions.
For Tomorrow Morning in Salt Lake City, temperatures will rise from 47 degrees at 7 a.m. to 57 degrees by 11 a.m. Enjoy clear skies transitioning to sunny conditions as the morning progresses. Winds will be light, starting from the east-southeast at 6 miles per hour and shifting to the southeast at 4 miles per hour. It’s a calm and serene start to your day.
High temperatures for the Southwest region will be notably warm tomorrow. In Las Vegas, expect a high of 91 degrees, well above average for this time of year. Phoenix will push up to a sizzling 93 degrees, showing similar above-average trends.
Moving to the coastal areas, Los Angeles will see a milder day with highs reaching 64 degrees, while farther inland, Bakersfield warms up to 84 degrees. San Diego will remain pleasant at 63 degrees.
Cedar City hits 72. Flagstaff stays cooler at 68 degrees, allowing for a contrast between the hotter southern zones and the higher elevations.
“On the futurecast for the Southwest, Wednesday offers a mix of clear skies and scattered showers. Northern California will experience bouts of valley rain that can make driving conditions challenging. Southern California, particularly around the San Bernardino Valley, is under the threat of heavy rain showers leading to slippery roads over mountain passes. Thunderstorms are not anticipated in this region. Temperatures across the desert areas will remain warm, providing a respite from the wet conditions. ”
