In the Southwest, the Regional Radar shows a dynamic weather pattern. Rain is making its presence felt as it sweeps inland from the Pacific Ocean, with San Francisco experiencing showers that extend through Fresno and Bakersfield. This brings much-needed relief along the California coastline. Moving eastward, snow is impacting the higher elevations of Nevada.lagstaff is seeing some light snow showers, lending a chill to the air. Las Vegas, however, remains dry under clearer skies. Farther south, San Diego and Los Angeles are experiencing milder weather, with only light drizzle skirting through.
“In Salt Lake City, expect a cloudy start tomorrow morning. Temperatures will be around 45 degrees at 7 AM, warming slightly to 46 degrees by 9 AM, and reaching 50 degrees by 11 AM. Winds are coming from the southeast at 6 miles per hour, shifting to 8 miles per hour as the morning progresses.
High temperatures in the Southwest for tomorrow show a significant warm-up across the region.
In Phoenix, expect a high of 84 degrees, well above average for this time of year, fueled by a strong high-pressure system bringing clear skies. Las Vegas is forecasted to reach 77 degrees, a little bit warmer than seasonal norms. Bakersfield will see highs of 71 degrees, providing a pleasant day for outdoor activities.
Farther north, Fresno is on track for a high of 64 degrees, while San Diego will be slightly cooler at 63 degrees. In Ely, temperatures will peak at a chilly 54 degrees, staying below average compared to the warm conditions elsewhere in the region. Santa Fe and Flagstaff could anticipate highs around 60 degrees.
“A strong weather system will impact Southwest California beginning tomorrow with scattered rain showers moving into the region. Expect heavier precipitation and possible thunderstorms along the coast as the system intensifies. Northern Arizona will see increasing cloudiness with periods of rain by late afternoon. Temperatures will drop slightly but remain moderate overall. Travelers should be cautious of slick roads and possible reduced visibility in higher elevations.
