Moving farther southeast, Fresno and Bakersfield are anticipating these rain bands to extend their reach definitely enhancing their weather outlook. In Southern California, from Los Angeles down to San Diego, the weather remains dry and mild, with no immediate threat of rain showers. Over in Las Vegas, clear skies dominate, which means the desert’s typical dry and sunny conditions persist today. Clear conditions prevail over the Eastern Sierra and onto the Nevada side. Moving eastward, Cedar City in Utah and Flagstaff in Arizona are on the drier side, but a chill can be expected.
