In the Southwest region, rain showers are making their way up the California coastline, bringing some relief to areas around Redding and San Francisco. Higher elevations, especially around Reno, are experiencing mixed precipitation, with snow likely in the mountains. Bakersfield and Fresno are seeing overcast conditions with intermittent rain, while areas like Salt Lake City remain dry. Las Vegas and Los Angeles are also enjoying clear skies, providing a break from the wet weather elsewhere. Flagstaff and Ely are currently under clear conditions, but there’s a chance for scattered showers later.
For tomorrow morning in Salt Lake City, starting at 8 AM, temperatures will be around 52 degrees with a clear sky. By 10 AM, the temperature will rise to 57 degrees, remaining sunny with a gentle east-southeast wind at 6 miles per hour. By noon, expect 65 degrees and continued sunshine with a slight shift in the wind coming from the south-southeast at 5 miles per hour.
Highs across the Southwest are expected to soar above average tomorrow, with Phoenix leading the charge at a sizzling 102 degrees. Las Vegas will be warm as well, hitting 96 degrees, while Bakersfield is forecasted to reach 99 degrees. In Southern California, Los Angeles will see a pleasant high of 89 degrees, and San Diego enjoys a comfortable 81 degrees. Fresno aligns closely with the trend, expected to hit 98 degrees.
Tomorrow in the Southwest, expect mostly sunny conditions dominating the region, with temperatures ranging from the mid-70s to low 90s. A coastal low will bring some increased cloud cover and light rain to the northern regions of California, especially by the afternoon. As the day progresses, Southern California might experience isolated showers in the San Bernardino Valley, potentially impacting travel over the mountain passes. Across Arizona and Nevada, dry conditions prevail with temperatures climbing towards the high end of the scale, and breezy winds picking up through the basin areas. Stay alert for any sudden weather changes if traveling through higher elevations.
