Moving east, light showers are observed in the deserts surrounding Las Vegas, with dry conditions prevailing in the city itself. The Sierra Nevada, especially around Reno, remains dry today, while isolated showers near Ely are wrapping up. The coastal areas from San Francisco to Los Angeles are not experiencing significant rain, offering dry, clear conditions. Over in Arizona, cities like Phoenix are under clear skies, with Flagstaff seeing just a hint of cloud cover without current precipitation.
This evening in Salt Lake City, the skies will remain clear with temperatures beginning at 89 degrees at 9 PM. Winds shift from northwest at 7 mph at 9 PM to northeast at 5 mph by 11 PM, continuing to an east-southeast flow at 7 mph by 1 AM. As the night progresses, temperatures will cool down to 81 degrees at 11 PM and further to 75 degrees by 1 AM.
