In Phoenix, a hot day is in store with a high of 94 degrees, significantly above the average for this time of year. Las Vegas will also feel the heat, reaching a warm 87 degrees. Cedar City hits 69 degrees.
In California, expectations are for temperatures to reach 86 degrees in Bakersfield, and Los Angeles will enjoy a high of 82 degrees. San Diego can expect a mild 76 degrees, while Fresno has a warm day ahead at 83 degrees.

“Looking at the futurecast for Southwest, we can anticipate a mostly clear and sunny day for the desert regions into tomorrow. However, attention is required for coastal areas where a disturbance is bringing showers. Northern California will experience consistent valley rain from Tuesday into Wednesday, contributing to potential slick conditions. In southern California, evening showers are expected, particularly over the San Bernardino Valley. Stay cautious with rapid weather shifts along the coast.”
The UV index in Salt Lake City will be moderate, peaking at 5 both Sunday and Monday, with a burn time of about 27 minutes in direct sunlight. Enjoy the sunshine, but remember to wear your sunscreen and stay protected!
