Snow is falling across the mountains around Flagstaff, providing a wintery blanket over the region. Light to moderate snow showers are extending northeastward into Cedar City. Skies over Las Vegas and Phoenix remain clear with no precipitation expected. Along California’s coast, including areas like Los Angeles and San Francisco, conditions are calm with clear skies. Ely and Salt Lake City are sheltered from active weather, maintaining dry conditions.
For tomorrow morning in Salt Lake City, temperatures will start around 45 degrees at 8 a.m. with mostly cloudy skies. By 10 a.m., expect a slight increase to 46 degrees with clouds beginning to clear, giving way to partly cloudy conditions. Come noon, the sun will shine through with temperatures reaching 54 degrees, accompanied by a light southeast wind around 6 to 7 miles per hour.
High temperatures in the Southwest region are notably warm for tomorrow. Phoenix and Las Vegas are both expected to reach 84 degrees, indicating above-average temperatures. Meanwhile, Fresno and Bakersfield will also enjoy highs around 84 degrees. Coastal areas like San Diego and Los Angeles will see pleasant conditions with highs of 70 degrees, while San Francisco is cooler at 63 degrees.
A cold front is pushing through the Southwest, bringing much-needed rain to Arizona and New Mexico from late Saturday into Sunday. Expect heavy downpours and possible thunderstorms as the front moves east. Rain totals could reach over an inch in some areas, potentially causing localized flooding. Behind the front, cooler temperatures and clearing skies will settle over the region, offering relief from recent heat.
