On the Regional Radar, a line of storms is moving from New Orleans to Jackson, bringing heavy rain and some severe weather conditions. This system is stretching northeast toward Montgomery and Atlanta, where thunderstorms are expected. Farther east, Savannah is experiencing cloud cover ahead of rain approaching from the west. Jacksonville has light rain, while areas to the north toward Charlotte are seeing the initial bands of rain edging in. Meanwhile, the Gulf of Mexico just south of Louisiana shows some isolated storm activity developing offshore.
For this evening in Miami, temperatures will decrease gently from 76 degrees at 8 PM to 73 degrees by midnight. Expect mostly cloudy skies with a light breeze coming from the south-southeast at 7 mph, becoming calmer with winds shifting to 4 mph later on.
Now for the low temperatures in the Southeast tonight. Expect a chilly start in the Tennessee River Valley with Memphis dropping to 43 degrees. Nashville will be slightly cooler at 40. In the Deep South, Shreveport will see a low of 50 degrees, while Jackson dips to 56. Montgomery is forecasted to be 52. Farther east, Atlanta is expected to cool down to 30 degrees, and Savannah will be around 55 degrees. Jacksonville is hovering at 59, and Tampa has a milder night with a low of 62. Miami will stay warm, maintaining a low of 69 degrees.
High temperatures across the Southeast tomorrow are set to be quite warm, with many areas experiencing above-average readings. In Louisiana, Shreveport will reach a high of 89 degrees, while New Orleans will enjoy a warm 81 degrees. Over in Mississippi, Jackson is anticipated to see 84 degrees, a comfortable mark for this time of year. Moving eastward, Montgomery, Alabama, is expected to hit 82 degrees, and Atlanta, Georgia, will warm up to 79 degrees. In the Carolinas, Charlotte is forecasted for a pleasant 77 degrees, while Savannah, Georgia, will see a high of 76 degrees. Florida remains warm with Tampa and Miami both expected to reach 81 degrees.

Rainfall accumulations are predicted to surpass one inch, raising concerns for localized flooding. Meanwhile, temperatures ahead of the front remain warm, but cooler air will follow, moderating conditions by the weekend.”
The UV index in Miami will be very high on Monday with a value of 9, resulting in a burn time of approximately 15 minutes under direct sunlight. Although clouds might provide intermittent cover on Tuesday, the UV index remains high at 6 with a burn time of 23 minutes.
