A powerful line of storms is sweeping across the Southeast from west to east. Severe storms are moving from New Orleans, making their way towards Montgomery, delivering heavy winds and rain. Jackson is experiencing significant precipitation as the storm system pushes through the region. Atlanta is on the path of these storms, so anticipate impactful weather moving in soon. The southern Alabama and Florida Panhandle are bracing for rain as the system progresses. Although Houston is currently enjoying a clear sky, Tampa is seeing cloud cover associated with incoming storm activity from the Gulf.

Cooler temperatures follow the front, bringing relief from today’s humidity. Remember, staying informed is key with this dynamic system over the next 48 hours.
