Savannah and Jacksonville are also experiencing significant rainfall, with storms extending into the Atlantic. Central Florida, including the Tampa area, is under a line of intense storms tracking north. In contrast, Houston experiences scattered showers, with clear air leaving New Orleans dry for now.
