A line of scattered rain showers is moving northeast from Shreveport towards Jackson, with light precipitation currently observed over Jackson and heading towards the east. Meanwhile, cities like New Orleans and Houston remain under mostly clear skies. Cloud cover is on the rise in the Southeast, with Montgomery seeing some clouds moving in from the northwest. Farther east, areas from Savannah to Miami are experiencing clear conditions.
