Storms are advancing from Nashville across Tennessee, bringing severe weather conditions that are pushing toward the Carolinas. Atlanta is currently seeing cloud cover, and rain is expected shortly as the system moves in that direction. Meanwhile, Jacksonville is facing some isolated showers, with rain extending into the northern region of Florida. In stark contrast, coastal cities like Savannah and Charleston are experiencing dry and pleasant conditions with clearer skies. Farther west, a band of rain has swept over New Orleans and is heading eastward, affecting parts of Mississippi, including Jackson. The region encompassing Houston to Shreveport remains under mild weather conditions with no precipitation expected.
This evening in Atlanta, anticipate a mostly cloudy start with thunderstorms likely. Temperatures will fall from 64 degrees at 9 PM to 59 degrees by 11 PM, with winds from the west-southwest at 5 miles per hour.
