“A cold front sweeps through the Southeast into Sunday, bringing a line of thunderstorms. Pay close attention from Memphis through Atlanta and down to Jacksonville, as intense rain and possible severe storms create a chaotic weather day. Expect isolated downpours and potential flash flooding, particularly Sunday morning into early afternoon. The system pushes into Florida further affecting Tampa and Miami by late Sunday with tropical moisture and possible water-logged conditions. Watch for strong wind gusts and be prepared for weather alerts across the region over the next 24 to 48 hours.”
The UV index in Atlanta is low today and tomorrow due to a storm system reducing UV exposure.
