The coastline from Jacksonville to Miami is under clear skies but keep an eye on the rain systems moving from the Gulf towards Tampa.Memphis and Jackson are staying dry as clouds scatter across those regions.
Atlanta’s afternoon features temperatures steady at 65 degrees, accompanied by an easterly wind around 11 mph. Expect periods of rain through the late afternoon and into the early evening hours. The overcast sky pattern continues, providing a damp and cool atmosphere.
This afternoon, in New Orleans, expect a high of 76 degrees, while Jackson reaches 75. Montgomery will be cooler at 72, in contrast to the warmer spots like Jacksonville, which sees a high of 79 degrees. Tampa shines with a delightful 84, and Miami is just a bit warmer at 85 degrees. Shreveport, however, lingers lower with a high of only 65, indicating a distinct temperature contrast in the region.
The Southeast is in for a cool night with several cities experiencing significant temperature drops. Expect 61 degrees in Jackson and a brisk 62 in Shreveport.
