The Southern Plains are witnessing active weather patterns with a prominent line of storms stretching from Dallas to Little Rock. Heavy rain and thunderstorm activity are currently moving eastward towards Jackson, Mississippi, bringing intense showers along the way. Meanwhile, Oklahoma City remains under overcast conditions with a few lighter showers expected to develop. In contrast, areas farther west such as Albuquerque and El Paso are experiencing clear skies. New Orleans and the surrounding Gulf Coast are breezy but dry for now, with humid conditions setting the stage for potential thunderstorm development later.

Oklahoma City will see a low of 60 degrees, while Dallas cools down to 65. Midland is expecting a low of 65 as well, but the chill is less severe in San Antonio, where temperatures will hold at 72. Folks in Little Rock may wake up to a crisp 65 degrees, and in Jackson, expect a low around 66.
