A line of storms is pushing eastward from Dallas toward the Mississippi, bringing strong weather to Little Rock. Oklahoma City is also facing some active weather, with rain trailing this system. Meanwhile, Kansas City enjoys a quieter sky. In the southern stretches, El Paso and Albuquerque are experiencing clearer conditions. Rain is developing near Jackson and pushing towards the southeastern region.
Afternoon temperatures in Austin are expected to reach up to 82 degrees. Winds will be coming from the southeast at 8 miles per hour, providing a gentle breeze.
