A sunny day prevails over much of the Southern Plains, with clear skies stretching from San Antonio up to Oklahoma City and beyond. The radar shows isolated areas of rain along the Gulf Coast near New Orleans, slowly drifting eastward. Light showers are also trailing east toward Jackson. A more concentrated band of precipitation is sweeping through northern Mississippi heading into the southeast. Dallas and Midland remain dry and calm under a stretch of clear blue skies.

Tomorrow morning in Austin, expect a calm and sunny start with temperatures beginning at 55 degrees by 8 AM. As the morning progresses, temperatures rise to 62 degrees at 10 AM with a gentle northeast wind at 3 mph. By noon, the temperature increases to 71 degrees, accompanied by an east-northeast wind at 5 mph.

High temperatures for the Southern Plains tomorrow indicate a warm trend. El Paso is set to hit a high of 86 degrees, while Midland reaches 79. San Antonio will warm up to 83 degrees, and Corpus Christi expects a pleasant 81. Dallas is slightly cooler with a high of 77 degrees. Little Rock is forecasted to have a comfortable high of 73, indicating above-average temperatures across most of the region.

Tomorrow, the Southern Plains will experience fluctuating weather conditions as a cold front moves from the north. Expect showers and potential severe thunderstorms across areas including Oklahoma City and Dallas, with the possibility of damaging winds and heavy downpours. Meanwhile, to the south, Corpus Christi and San Antonio will see scattered rain, bringing some relief to dry conditions. In Midland and El Paso, expect dry and warm weather as conditions remain stable.

Austin will experience a very high UV index of 10 on both Saturday and Sunday, with a rapid sunburn time of just 12 minutes. This means extra precautions are essential!

Sunday: Mostly clear skies with a high of 81 degrees and a low of 60.
Monday: Partly cloudy day as temperatures reach 76 degrees and cool down to 67 at night.
Tuesday: Thunderstorms expected with a high of 84 degrees and a low of 63.
Wednesday: Isolated thunderstorms, with temperatures peaking at 83 degrees and dropping to 61 overnight.
Thursday: Enjoy mostly clear weather with a high of 83 degrees and a low near 61.
Friday: Clear skies, allowing highs to reach 84 degrees with a nighttime low of 61.
Saturday: Mostly clear, closing the week with a comfortable high of 83 degrees and a cool low of 58.
