Across the Southern Plains, the weather is showcasing a dynamic mix of conditions. On the radar, a band of rain is sweeping across Texas and into portions of Arkansas and Louisiana. Dallas is experiencing a steady downpour, with rain extending eastward towards Little Rock, causing wet conditions there as well. Severe weather markers are present, indicating potential thunderstorms in the vicinity of New Orleans, where heavy rain is also observed moving through the city. Meanwhile, Houston is in the path of storms, adding to more areas expecting a soggy day ahead. In contrast, Albuquerque, Oklahoma City, and San Antonio enjoy clearer skies under calm conditions. As this system progresses, areas farther north like Kansas City remain dry for the moment.
Tomorrow morning in Austin, expect temperatures to start at 66 degrees at 7 AM. The morning will feature mostly cloudy skies with a south wind at 4 miles per hour.
