On the regional radar, scattered rain showers are extending from Oklahoma City down to Dallas, gradually making their way toward Little Rock. Kansas City enjoys clear skies further north, while heading down south, San Antonio and Corpus Christi are dealing with more intense thunderstorms, especially along the coast. El Paso remains dry this morning, but those in the southern areas closer to New Orleans should prepare for a continuous stream of showers moving in their direction. Jackson, caught in the path of these showers, can expect persistent rainfall throughout the day.
This evening in Austin, the temperature will start at 72 degrees at 8 PM, decreasing to 67 degrees by midnight. Expect mostly cloudy skies initially, transitioning to partly cloudy conditions as the night progresses. Winds will be mild, coming from the southeast at 4 miles per hour, later shifting to the south-southeast at 3 miles per hour.
