On the Regional Radar, the Southern Plains are experiencing a mix of weather conditions. Rain is intensifying over the Gulf Coast, particularly around Corpus Christi and moving towards New Orleans. San Antonio is witnessing scattered showers, while the surrounding areas remain clearer. A line of storms is developing just off the coast, indicating potential severe weather for coastal communities. Much of the central and northern parts of Texas, including Dallas, maintain dry conditions with clear skies.
Austin will see a partly cloudy evening with temperatures starting at 75 degrees at 9 PM and cooling to 68 degrees by 1 AM. Northerly winds will stay light at 6 mph, transitioning to 4 mph as the night progresses. Expect mostly clear skies after 11 PM as high pressure takes charge over the area.
Tonight in the Southern Plains, expect lows of 50 degrees in Midland and 56 in Dallas. Oklahoma City will also feel the chill at 51 degrees, while Little Rock sees a low of 57. San Antonio will remain milder at 61 degrees, and Corpus Christi should wrap up the night around 64 degrees.
High temperatures for the Southern Plains tomorrow are looking quite warm. El Paso will hit 83 degrees, while Midland reaches a comfortable 82. San Antonio is set for a high of 83, with Corpus Christi peaking at 85 degrees. Dallas is slightly cooler at 78 degrees, and Oklahoma City will see a high of 73.

Oklahoma City should prepare for stronger storms due to an unstable air mass. With an approaching cold front, the risk of severe weather, including damaging winds and potential isolated tornadoes, exists through Wednesday night. Showers and storms can be expected to track eastward into Arkansas, Louisiana, and Mississippi by tomorrow evening. Temperatures will drop following the front, promising cooler, drier conditions moving into the weekend.
