Across the Southern Plains, the regional radar indicates rain sweeping through eastern Texas into Arkansas, with Little Rock experiencing light showers. Thunderstorms are peppering areas near Dallas, moving southeastward toward the Gulf Coast. San Antonio and Corpus Christi are enjoying clear skies, a stark contrast to the active weather farther east. In Mississippi, moderate to heavy rainfall is affecting Jackson, while New Orleans is experiencing scattered rain showers as a system moves offshore. Oklahoma and Kansas are currently enjoying dry conditions, offering them a break from the rain.
