Farther south, clouds and light showers are being picked up just near Midland, Texas. The rest of the Southern Plains, including Dallas, San Antonio, and Oklahoma City, look clear right now, offering some tranquility under the vast sky. South Texas, near Corpus Christi and the coast, remains dry with no current precipitation. The Mississippi Delta, around Jackson and stretching towards New Orleans, is experiencing lingering cloud cover with minimal rain activity.
