Along the southern Plains, from El Paso through Albuquerque, conditions are calm with no precipitation on the radar.

By 6 PM, temperatures peak at 97 degrees as winds shift slightly to the south-southeast. As evening approaches, temperatures will slide back to 95 degrees with increasing cloud cover and winds picking up to 12 miles per hour from the south-southeast.

Oklahoma City lags slightly with a high of just 73, reflecting a significant temperature contrast across the region. Tonight Oklahoma City will see a low of 63 degrees, while Dallas drops to 64. Farther south, San Antonio is expected to stay warmer at 77, but expect chilly air at 69 in Midland. El Paso will cool down slightly to 65 degrees as well.
